The 10 Year History of Dhamma Vihara, by Alina Morales

history channel documentary hd It's been an agreeable two visits (April, '08 and April, '09) to Dhamma Vihara Monastery where I chatted with the abbot, Theravada Buddhist minister and instructor, Venerable Nandisena, and some of his understudies The retreatants at Dhamma Vihara rehearse both "care contemplation" (Satipatthana Sutta, Majjhima Nikaya, 10) and metta reflection (Metta Sutta). Careful contemplation is underlined. In metta contemplation rehearse, the retreatants shower adoring benevolence to themselves as well as other people. The retreatants additionally do a practice called "sharing legitimacy." At the end of the day, the meditators present so everyone can hear, "May all creatures share the benefits got by us for the acquiring of any sort of joy." [Que todos los seres compartan los méritos que hemos obtenido para la adquisicíon de todo tipo de felicidad; que los seres que habitan el espacio y la tierra compartan nuestros méritos que ellos protejan las enseñanzas.]

The retreatants hone thirteen hours a day of contemplation. Be careful. Notice. Focus. Go profoundly inside. Unwind. Quiet down. Pay Attention on breath. Relinquish annoyance, insatiability and uninformed fancies. Emanate emotions that all be well and cheerful. Plan for there to be peace, inside and without. Study the teachings. Do sitting and strolling reflection. Keep the statutes. I appreciated the regular habitat of Dhamma Vihara. Jilotepec's kin are strong of a Buddhist religious community in a transcendently Catholic populace. Quite a while back I took a few workshops. The subject was connection, change and impermanence. The recently procured point of view of these ideas extended my perspective of the world and life. I was exceptionally appreciative to the individual who imparted this learning to me. A few years subsequent to going to these workshops, I found out about Buddhist contemplation, which helped me to put these new ideas into practice.
